Amanda has been with Lake Park Dental as a dental assistant for the past four years. She is committed to caring for our patients at the highest level possible, while keeping them comfortable and relaxed. She is very passionate about her job, is eager to learn, a very motivated person and loves to see patients leaving with a smile on their face. Amanda was born and raised in Florida and graduated from Chamberlain High School in 2005. She attended Sanford-Brown Institute and received her EFDA diploma in 2010.
When she is not working, she loves spending time with her daughters Aniija, who is 4 years old, Deyshia, she is 8 years old and is looking forward to meeting her unborn baby boy Camryn Justyce in April 2017. Amanda and her daughters like to go to the park, zoo, aquarium, swimming, biking and adventure parks.

Cheryl is a master technician with a true passion for superb aesthetics. She is a graduate of Tampa Bay Tech, Bryman Dental Assisting School in Salt Lake City, Utah and the Dental Tech School at Arizona College in Phoenix, AZ.
After initially working as a dental lab tech in Arizona, Cheryl moved to Florida and worked with renowned industry leader and educator, Dr. Peter Dawson in St. Petersburg, until she started her own dental lab, in 1986, which she operated for 28 years. Cheryl joined Lake Park Dental with years of expert experience and a desire to partner with a group of dentists and team members who truly care for their patience overall health and dental beauty.
When not working on creating dental masterpieces in the lab, Cheryl enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and being involved in her church.
Jessica finds passion in making a positive difference in her patients’ lives. Whether she’s providing a bright new smile, teaching proper home care personalized to their needs or treating periodontal disease, she takes great pride in establishing a warm and trusting relationship with each one of her patients. Jessica loves working at Lake Park Dental, not only for the amazing team but also because of the commitment to advanced technology and patient care.
Originally from New York, she is happy to call Florida home. Jessica loves an active lifestyle that includes going boating, traveling and spending time with her family, friends and husband.
Natalie loves working at Lake Park Dental, LOVES IT! Her favorite part of the job is being able to witness the difference in her patients from the initial visit to their new smile. She loves seeing her patients’ eyes light up when they look at themselves more positively even after the simplest of treatments. Working with the team at Lake Park Dental is a huge privilege and one that Natalie values every day. She attended Concorde Career College in 2002, and received her EFDA diploma with a 4.0 GPA. Continuing education and learning new procedures is a very exciting aspect of her role.
If you don’t see her at the office, you’ll probably find her with her family — at the dog park, the mall, or driving around the woods looking for something to photograph. She loves the Tampa area where she resides with her husband Jayson, her daughter Aven Vale, and their two dogs, Maia and Meara.
Tanya has been a dental assistant for two years. Her favorite thing about her job is helping her patients feel better about their smile and making sure they have a positive experience. Tanya enjoys spending time with her family and going to football games. She is a huge Eagles fan and enjoys taking trips to Pennsylvania to watch them play.
Shelby has been a dental assistant for 4 years. Her favorite thing about working as a dental assistant is helping patients overcome dental anxiety and making every visit to the practice the best experience. Shelby went to Central Florida Institute where she received her Expanded Functions Dental Assisting Certificate. Shelby is also a part of CEREC® Seminars Education and Dental Lab, teaching along side with Dr. Jockin.
Although she loves assisting her passion is teaching other dental professionals on the technology she has had the privileged of working with the past 4 years.
When she is not in the office she enjoys spending time with her husband Carlos and dog smokey at the beach.
Sandy is a native of Alabama where she worked over 30 years as an administrative assistant. Sandy moved to Florida in 2014 with her husband Rick. She is very thankful for the opportunity to work at Lake Park Dental, each person here is like an extension of my family.
She enjoys speaking with patients as she does scheduling, you learn something interesting each day.
When not at work, Sandy likes to scrapbook, make wreaths, travel to see her son Josh in Alabama and watching the Auburn Tigers.
Nyla has been in dentistry for over a decade, coming from a business administration and marketing background. Having owned her own dental practice management and solution company she offers broad experience in practice development, team coaching, implementing policies and operational efficiencies. She is also certified in expanded functions dental assisting, radiology and CPR.
In addition to the daily responsibilities of practice administration, here at Lake Park Dental she will also help you to understand treatment options, aid with insurance filing processes, set up financial arrangements, coordinate care with specialists as well as our in-house lab. She takes great pride in her role and will always go above and beyond with any assistance needed so you may accomplish your oral health goals.
Throughout her career, she strives to stay on the cutting edge of technology and the dental industry “best practices” through continued education. Recent accomplishments include being named Lake Park Dental’s HIPAA & OSHA Security Officer, an Administrator of CEREC® Seminars Education and Dental Lab as well as completion of additional certifications in team management and leadership. She currently holds memberships with the American Dental Association (ADA), the American Association of Dental Office Managers (AADOM), American Dental Assisting Association (ADAA) and the Association of Dental Consultants (ADC).
Outside of the office she is an art and architecture enthusiast, enjoys experimenting with new recipes, traveling and taking her six-year-old son Rylan on impromptu one tank trip type of adventures. Being a Florida native, her favorite weekend activities include just about anything on the water; boating, fishing, kayaking or paddle boarding.
Jericho has been involved in the dental lab industry for 18 years. She started working in her family’s dental lab after school in her teens. She loves being a part of this dental team, working side by side with doctors and team to help patients receive the best restoration. She servers as the lab manager for CEREC® Seminars Education and Dental Lab and is also an Educator for the workshops.
Outside of work, Jericho enjoys spending time with her husband and 7 year old son. She loves to entertain friends and family, as well as baking, traveling, water sports, and biking.
Henna is a dental technician who has worked for the last ten years focusing on high-end ceramic restorations. She specializes in natural esthetic for all phase of crowns and bridge as well as in Implant. She is excellent matching custom shade with her artistic talent. She enjoy working with fantastic team and latest digital technology.
Originally from South Korea, she graduated art school and married her husband, Sung. From there, she moved to America to eventually settle in Tampa to raise her two children. When she’s not working, she loves to cook, shop, spend time with her friends, and facetime her grandson (and soon to be granddaughter!)
Andrea graduated from Dental School in 1999 in Colombia, South America, after working in the Dental field for some years, she decided to come to the United States to have new experiences and adventures. Moving to Tampa is one of the best decisions she says to have made.
She has lived here for 15 years and working as a dental assistant and hygienist is one of the most rewarding things in her life. Getting to know her patients and help the improve their smiles is an incredible experience and with the help of all the team of Lake Park Dental it feels good to know she makes peoples lives brighter and happier.
In her personal time, she loves spending time with family and friends, cooking Latin food, also spoiling her dog J.V aka Juan Valdez representing Colombian coffee.
Tina has been in the dental world for over 20 years. She has a lot of experience in all aspects of a dental office from assisting to office management.
Here at Lake Park Dental she is our insurance guru. She will help you understand all your insurance options and dental coverage. She takes great pride making sure that you are completely satisfied with all your insurance questions and goes above and beyond to get all of your insurance rectified.
When no giving it 110% in the office she loves spending time with her husband Billy and three children Jax, Jacqleen & Jager at a baseball field or by the pool.
Meet Dental Assistant, Miroslava. She has been with our Lake Park Dental family since February. Miroslava was born in Bulgaria and migrated to the States when she was only 3 years old.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in BioMedical Sciences from USF and is aspiring to attend dental school. She has been focusing on both assisting, as well as dentistry from a doctor’s perspective as she works closely with Dr. Jockin and Dr. Dy. Miroslava has expressed how this opportunity has enlightened her knowledge of dentistry and feels very confident moving forward to dental school, knowing she chose the right profession.
Away from the office Miroslava enjoys drawing, painting, snowboarding, hiking, and spending time with her family and friends.
Dr. Nati is dedicated to providing the best possible patient care, unique for every individual. She prides herself in her bedside manner and spends the time to really get to know her patients. Dr. Nati treats her patients like family and achieves optimal results by providing comprehensive care.
Dr. Nati graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelors Degree in Biopsychology and a minor in Chemistry at Wagner College before receiving her Doctorate of Dental Medicine at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale. Upon graduation, she received distinguished awards from The Academy of General Dentistry and The International Congress of Oral Implantologists for her excellence and commitment to family, cosmetic and implant dentistry. Dr. Nati enjoys volunteering her time to help those in need of dental access. She has participated in a medical mission trip to Saint Mary Parish, Jamaica in addition to local community service events.
Dr. Nati is a member of several dental associations including: American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and West Coast District Dental Association.
Dr. Nati’s passion is in general dentistry, and performs all services including crowns, bridges, fillings/bonding, veneers, root canals, extractions, dentures, partials, and restoration of implant supported prostheses. Dr. Nati is experienced in treating patients that have not visited the dentist in many years and creates a personalized solution, unique for their situation. She loves not only restoring oral health, but also restoring confidence through a beautiful smile.
Dr. Nati is a native of New York, but now is a permanent Floridian. She enjoys the warm climate and being outdoors, exploring all Tampa Bay has to offer. Her favorite hobbies include spending time with her family Chris, Leia (Siberian Husky), and Obi (Pomsky), healthy cooking, exercising, and travelling. A big fan of Game of Thrones, one of her favorite trips was to Iceland where she toured the different settings of Game of Thrones filming.
Amanda P. is one of our concierge ladies; you’ll see her as soon as you walk through the door – she’s the one offering coffee! “I never realized how an individual’s outlooks can be so greatly skewed due to their refusal to smile, because of the insecurity; and seeing the real difference we make in our patients’ attitude on life by fixing smiles – is a true blessing”.
She is currently working towards a graduate degree in counselling in hopes of one day working with children and families. In her free time, Amanda enjoys reading a good book, traveling near and far, finishing home renovation projects with her husband, and just simply being outdoors.
Lauren obtained her education at IDT, in Florence, Kentucky. She has been working in the dental field for 5 years. She really enjoys working in the dental field, as there is always something to learn everyday. She loves to help others and to make patients feel at ease when they are in the dental chair.
Lauren and her boyfriend moved to the Tampa area 8 months ago, and joined Lake Park Dental 7 months ago.
She loves to travel and visiting the many different beach with her boyfriend and friends. She has also enjoyed her missionary work in Belize.
Rose is a kind-hearted, fun-loving dental assistant who has enjoyed witnessing the positive attitudes in changing one’s life with a new and beautiful smile. She graduated from Bryan College of Dental Assisting in Everett, WA and has been in the field for 10 years. She enjoys learning every new aspect of it.
She was born in the Philippines, raised in Washington state and decided to pack her bags one day to follow her dream and move here to Florida.
During her free time, Rose finds comfort at the beach, enjoying the company of her friends, finding new adventures with her boyfriend but also absolutely misses snowboarding.
Camaryn joined Lake Park Dental in February 2017 and is new to the dental field. She loves chatting with patients at the front desk as well as helping in the business office with insurance verification when needed. When not at the practice, she enjoys spending time with her daughter.
Cam is a life-long resident of Florida and has lived in Gainesville (Go Gators) and she currently resides in her hometown of New Port Richey.
Cam has worked in the dental field since 1984 mainly in oral surgery. Most recently coming to Lake Park Dental to work in scheduling.
She has been married for 32 years to her husband Kevin and has 2 daughters, Michaela and Jordyn and a new grandson, Corben Rosby! In her spare time she enjoys any time spent in the saltwater and going to the family’s stilt house. She also enjoys sewing heat therapy packs called CamEase!
